Google Adwords

Get (pretty much) instant traffic to your website using Google’s AdWords Pay Per Click Advertising.

You could rely on people discovering your website, or you could wait months for a Search Engine Optimisation to start showing  results. Alternatively you can buy paid traffic to bring targeted visitors to your site.

The sponsored listings at the top and down the right hand column of Google’s search results page are paid adverts, sold on a pay-per-click basis. In other words, it doesn’t matter how many times your advertising is seen – it costs you nothing until somebody actually clicks on your advert to visit your website.

To set up your advertising you choose keywords and phrases that you expect your prospects will type in when they’re looking for your product or service. You then state the most you’re prepared to pay in return for a visitor clicking on your advert. When a user searches, your advert and those of your competitors battle it out in an auction to determine how high up the list your advert will appear (if at all) – but nobody pays unless the visitor clicks on their advert.

Sounds good? AdWords can be a very quick and cost-effective way of bringing prospects to your website. The tricky bit is in setting the campaign up properly to begin with. As many business owners who have experimented with AdWords can attest, it can also burn through piles of cash very quickly and fail to produce any real results.

Watch out too for companies that charge no fee to manage your account, but that mark-up the cost-per-click by large percentages – a 40% markup means that for £200 you’re only buying £120 worth of clicks.

AdWords managment is included at no additional cost in all of our Monthly Marketing Packages or is available as a stand-alone service from £149+VAT for the initial set-up of your AdWords account, with fixed monthly mangement fees from £139+VAT.

There are no long contracts. The service runs month to month and you can cancel at any time. There’s no minimum advertising spend either, and as Google Partners we can usually offer you a voucher for £100 to spend on clicks when we set up a new account for you.
